Longarm quilting information and frequently asked questions:
Preparing your quilt-
Quilt top- Please press all seams flat. There will be a $20 an hour charge if the top is not pressed. Check for missed seams and please mend them. If you want me to mend them, I charge $20 an hour to fix missed seams.
Batting- You are welcome to send the batting of your choice or I offer Hobbs cotton batting at cost which is heirloom quality. I also request that the batting is 3-4" larger than the quilt top. This allows me to properly load the quilt onto the frame and have extra space to check the tension on my machine so your stitches will be beautiful.
Backing- please make sure your backing is at least 4" larger on each side of your top to allow for proper loading and gives me adequate room to work my magic.
Once the quilt is completed, I will invoice you for the total and get your quilt mailed or arrange for pickup. I gladly accept Paypal, money orders, cash, and check. If quilt has to be mailed, then client is responsible for postage costs and will be mailed via USPS.
Allergy information- My home is absolutely smoke free, but we do have pets. Our pets are absolutely not allowed on any client quilts, client fabrics, MY fabrics, and also the batting.
You will not need to send thread as I use Superior Threads King Tut, and So Fine on my longarm which are the very best in the industry.
I quilt with an 18" Innova. At this time, all of my pantographs and free motion quilting is hand guided which I love. I can accept quilts up to 12 feet wide so I can handle those king sized quilts without an issue.
If you have *any* questions, please ask as there is no stupid question.

I also offer machine binding. I can either just attach it to the front and you can finish it, or I can machine or hand finish it at an extra cost which is charged by the linear inch. Price coming soon.
